A small barred-spiral galaxy (10 arcmin in length) in the constellation of Andromeda is seen close to edge-on. It has active star-burst regions and, as can be seen in this image, is slightly bowed in shape, probably due to encounters with other galaxies. Other than that scant information, not much has been written about this second fiddle to the M31 the “Andromeda Galaxy.”
